Hi Everyone,

I'm Vicki Hinks, for those of you at your Western Australian Universities. I am based in Perth and visit South Australia on a regular basis. I will be there to provide you with support and advice to you during your stay and help you to get the most out of you study abroad experience.

I completed my Bachelor degree in education (Geography and Indonesian Language) at Curtin University.  During my degree I studied for a semester in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia. Studying and living overseas is one of the most exciting and valuable experiences I have had in my life and I congratulate you for taking the step of studying in Australia.

Since graduating, I worked as a high school teacher for 10 years before leaving the profession for a change in pace and direction. International education has always been an interest of mine and I have found it to be such a positive and rewarding change.

Outside of work, I enjoy playing tennis and netball, watching sport, relaxing by the beach, and travelling.

 I commend you on taking this huge step to explore another part of the world, and particularly in choosing WA as a destination. There are so many interesting and unique places to visit here.
