Greetings future Melbournians and Tasmanians!

My name is Dara and I am the SSC for UME, MON, and TAH. I am based in Melbourne and visit Tasmania on a regular basis. I look forward to working with each of you and introducing you to Melbourne and Tasmania, two absolutely amazing cities with rich cultural and historical backgrounds. If you enjoy shopping, sports, outdoor activities, food, and fun you have chosen the best location! I am based in Melbourne and will make regular trips to the Universities in Melbourne and also to Tasmania for events.

A little bit about myself: I completed degrees in Anthropology and Film Studies from the University of California Santa Barbara. After traveling and working my way around the world, I moved to Melbourne in April 2008. Having matriculated from the States, studying abroad in England, and now living in Australia, I understand how some of you may be feeling! I can empathize with each of you as I have experienced a plethora of emotions that accompany awesome life experiences.
