The Institute for Study Abroad, Butler University (IFSA-Butler) provides study abroad opportunities, academic and personal support services, for American and Canadian college students.
With IFSA-Butler, you can apply to study abroad for a semester or year at any one of more than 17 universities throughout Australia. A Butler University transcript, issued to each student after their experience abroad, outlines the full list of courses, grades and U.S. transfer credits from the period of study abroad.
This transcript allows you to incorporate your study abroad experience into a bachelor’s degree program at your home university. Any student studying for a bachelor’s degree at an accredited, four-year U.S. or Canadian college or university may apply to our programs.
In addition to processing the paperwork, payments and preparations to study at a host university, IFSA-Butler is organized to support you from the time you apply to study abroad until after your return. Staff in our office in Indianapolis and around the world are committed to providing support and preparing you for the academic and cultural changes that await you.
